Bezzera Strega S

Spring-lever machine with 4-litre tank and vibration pump for filling and pre-infusion, without direct plumbing.

Strega S uses a large spring lever and piston instead of pump pressure during the main extraction. On S and TOP, a vibration pump first fills the group and provides pre-infusion; on R, the water mains performs this task. The pump or inlet then stops and two springs create the characteristic declining pressure profile. The group is electrically heated, and the 2-litre heat exchanger supplies steam and hot water at the same time. The S version uses only its internal 4-litre tank and can be positioned freely.
